albert & geoffrey

*at home

albert & geoffrey are an electronic music duo from Hull, England. As well as putting our own music on this site, we're also looking to put our interpretations of other people's MIDI files here, too.

If you have a MIDI file you would like us to cover, send us a copy at the contact address below. Only your own original compositions, please. And be aware: we shall only use the note and tempo information within the file - instrumentation, programme changes, controller changes, pitch bend information, etc. will all be supplied by us. This means your work may not sound like it does when you play it at home on your system. Submitting a file means that you accept this possibility. It also means you're prepared to let us put it on the MIDI pages of this site alongside our audio version (in realaudio or mp3 format). We shall not use these MIDI files in performance or any other context without prior notification.

MIDI Files

Some of the MIDI files you'll find on this site will be original material by albert & geoffrey. The others have only been loaned to us. To keep it simple, if you find anything you think you could make money out of, let us know.
If you use them as source material for your own work, we'd like to hear about that too.

Audio Files

All audio files on this site are original material by albert & geoffrey - unless otherwise stated. They're free to you to download and enjoy at your leisure and can be re-distributed by you provided their file format is not changed, we (and our collaborators) are given full credit and you are doing it for free. If you start asking for money for our work, don't expect anyone to pay up when they can get it here for free.

Gigs

We're also available for live gigs creating improvised electronic music. We've played parties, art galleries, rock venues, art festivals - and once from the boot of a bus! We'll play anywhere if you think you can meet the expense.
We live in Hull, England.

Copyright

Although all the files on the site are free to download, we'd like to think the copyright still belongs to us (and our collaborators).
